Hey for a really dorky look - try wearing a kilt to the next game. My son things a kilt is cool but my daughter is not impressed about dad wearing a "skirt".

We live on the boundary of (what was) two parishes - a big parish (the church we were married in, has four Sunday masses plus vigil) and a little one (one Sunday mass and a vigil). Both churchs have parish schools. When we moved in, we shopped around and we were impressed by the acting principal at the small school and given the special needs of our son, we decided to get involved in the smaller parish.

Wind forward a few years. The parishes were "sort of" merged. The acting principal was replaced by permanent principal who we have been able to work with. The benefits of a small school were fading, there was no permanent priest any more (the small church just became an offshoot of the larger). My daughter started school at the larger parish this year and we have been estatic with the way the school works and the integration of the church into the school (unlike the smaller school/parish).

We are moving our commitments bit by bit to the main church....

So this pig and this chicken were walking past the local country church.

"Hey", said the chicken, "check out the notice board. The church is having a fund raising drive - maybe we could help out with the fund-raising breakfast".

"Well" said the pig "it is alright for you, eggs are just a contribution but bacon is a lifetime commitment."

Good episode, folks. Nice pacing. The realignment of segments is working really, really well. Keep it up.
