Would call but have a bad cold and can’t talk. Maybe a good thing? LOL

I homeschooled my son from 6th grade through high school and it was the best thing I ever did (other than marry his father! *smile*) Anyway, I read to my son until he started working at age 16. One of the requirements I had was that he read the classics so I started reading them to him when he was young. Our favorite book was “Brighty of the Grand Canyon.” It’s full of adventure, intrigue, pathos, and humor. The chapters are short…great for small kids…and most are cliff-hangers, making the reader want to go on to find out what happens next. Sure was a great incentive for getting an active little boy to go to sleep…the next day meant another chapter. LOL

Just thought you might be interested. Check out this book if you’ve never read it. You and your kids won’t regret it.
