Hey!
Just a comment about the broadband “section”:
I for one would have been interessted to hear, how this Microwave-thing is working. I never heard of something like that and found it not fair to stop David from pleasing the audiances curiosity.

As for the dance - the decision is yours BUT if you do “check every five minutes” then you may make Kathryn feel that you don’t trust her. That may make things harder later.
When my daughter reaches that age, my approach will be:
* Is the event chaperoned by someone or some group that I trust (if not, then maybe I become a chaperone)?
* Does my daughter know who to contact and what to do if she finds any situation hard to handle?
* Will my wife or I be “nearby” just in case of need?
