I was thrilled to hear you talk about Mattie Claire using sign language when asking for her play dough! My daughter is 16 months old and we have taught her basic sign also. It is hard to resist when she looks at you with those big brown eyes and signs please! Our three year old son has started to ask for something politely, and if we tell him no he will procced to sign please to us, as if that approach will work better.
I wish more people understood how rewarding it is for toddlers to be able to communicate basic needs and wants before they can verbalize them. I know it has been a great experience in our household.
I am excited to hear that there will be Catholic home schooling content on SQPN soon. My wife and I have decided that we are going to homeschool and every little bit of information helps a family that is new to the whole experience! Thanks for your ministery!
